The Origin Story
2013:
Sonia always loved weddings as every little girl does and in 2013 when she was Maid of Honour for her Aunties wedding that she really got to help plan her first wedding.
During this process Sonia's Aunty expressed how good she was at the planning of the wedding and told her to start a business so she could tell all of her friends! "Her Pink Top Hat" was created.
The plan was to start coordinating/planning weddings in 2015, but in February 2014 a fellow Adelaide wedding planner passed on one of their weddings just 1 week before the big day. After being a huge success the launch was fast tracked!
2015:
At the end of 2015 Sonia rebranded Her Pink Top Hat into what it is today - Sonia Madeline Events. Now more personal, more her!
2017:
In 2017 Sonia noticed a gap in the Adelaide wedding market for Bar Staff - someone to serve BYO drinks at the wedding. October 2017 at Jamie & Dylan's wedding the SME team completed their first Bar Staffed wedding!
2022:
9 years on we have been involved in 130+ weddings and events all over Adelaide.
