How it was Started
Sonia always loved weddings and it wasn't until 2013 when she was Maid of Honour for her Aunty's wedding that she really got to help plan her first wedding. During this process Sonia's Aunty expressed how good she was at the planning of the wedding and told her to start a business so she could tell all of her friends! From there the business Her Pink Top Hat was created. The plan was to start coordinating/planning weddings in 2015, but in February 2014 a fellow Adelaide wedding planner passed on one of their weddings to Her Pink Top Hat 1 week before the wedding. After being a huge success the launch of Her Pink Top Hat was fast tracked!
At the end of 2015 Sonia decided it was time for a change for the business, this meant doing a complete name change and revamp of the entire business. Sonia wanted to make it more personal, more her! That's how it went from Her Pink Top Hat to Sonia Madeline Events.
The 2017 take off!
2017 saw big things happen to Sonia Madeline Events!
On Day Coordinators:
The business took off with incredible amount of enquiries and in response to the overwhelming demand for professional planning, we hired extra coordinators to help with the extra weddings to give as many of Adelaide's brides stress free weddings!
2017 also saw Sonia Madeline Events venture down the path of being the newest bartenders in town.
